An exciting opportunity exists for a highly experienced Senior Centre Manager / Portfolio Manager to join our Real Estate Management Services team. Our team is driven to maximise the performance of our client’s assets by providing an integrated solution that seamlessly connects leasing, marketing, centre management and facilities management all through one point of contact.
Looking after 3 sites for one client, you will be based at a busy neighbourhood shopping centre in the heart of Chatswood 3 days per week, with 1 day per week in a boutique centre Double Bay & a mixed use development at Bondi Beach. This key role will be responsible for effectively managing and maximising the performance of this portfolio on behalf of our client. The main responsibilities of this role include:
- Overseeing the presentation, maintenance and compliance of the portfolio
- Building and maintaining close relationships with the client and tenants of the assets
- Assist the client with the leasing of the portfolio, achieving and maintaining a zero-vacancy level
- Preparation of all related contracts, reports, budgets, reconciliations, correspondence and documentation
- Proactively managing the income and expenditure, as well as the financial reporting requirements for the client
- Supervision of tenancy fit outs to ensure consistency and compliance with building objectives
- Compiling and implementing the asset’s strategic plan and marketing strategy
- Communicate frequently with the client and all tenants and provide timely relevant and professional advice in all aspects of the management of the property
- Team management including concierge service at one site.
- 8 + years’ experience in retail property management or centre management, including a thorough understanding of retail leasing practices, legislation, procedures and terminology
- NSW Real Estate Certificate or Licence
- Strong working knowledge of building services and real estate market activities, developments and trends
- Strong Excel skills
- Previous use of MRI management system (or similar) is highly regarded
- Strong organisational and negotiation skills
- Ability to build and foster key relationships and your desire to work in a highly team orientated environment
- Strong attention to detail
