Undergraduate Planner

The Colliers Engineering and Design team specialises in civil, infrastructure, water engineering, town planning and urban design. Key services provided to developers in this service line include site assessment and due diligence, planning approvals and engineering design through to completion of construction.

We are seeking to appoint an Undergraduate Planner in our Brisbane office. This role enables enthusiastic aspiring planners to start learning technical and project delivery skills and build awareness of the development industry. This role works closely with project teams, Planners and Senior Planners to assist and support with the completion of projects.

Specifically:

• Developing and maintaining relationships with project teams (internally and externally), as required to meet project deliverables;
• Undertaking research regarding land use planning controls applying to projects and working with Planners, Senior Planners, Principal Planners and Associate Directors in town planning assessment reporting and project delivery;
• Develop an understanding of project workflows and the importance of meeting client commitments through the proactive management of assigned work;
• Conduct the necessary research to recommend technical solutions with limited guidance where appropriate based on experience; and
• Keep up to date with relevant legislation, policies and regulations associated with urban development and town planning.

• Currently studying in town planning
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
• A commitment to providing high level quality service to clients
