We are looking for a Sustainability Consultant to join our Sustainability Services team and contribute to the delivery of complex green and healthy building certification projects, ESG advisory services, and sustainability strategies for investors, developers, and occupiers of the built environment.

Contribute to projects that are transforming the way buildings and organizations integrate sustainability into their decision-making processes.

You will have the opportunity to work on landmark projects across Romania and the wider region, applying internationally recognized standards such as LEED, BREEAM, WELL, and EDGE, while collaborating with professionals from a wide range of disciplines.


Job Description

Sustainability Projects
Manage workstreams and assigned activities within sustainability and certification projects.
Prepare and review documentation for LEED, BREEAM, WELL, EDGE and other sustainability frameworks.
Perform technical analyses, assessments and calculations.
Collaborate with designers, consultants and multidisciplinary project teams.
Coordinate assigned activities and follow up on project actions and deliverables.
Contribute to identifying solutions required to achieve project sustainability objectives.
Actively support certification processes from project registration through final certification.

Client Management
Maintain day-to-day communication with clients and project stakeholders.
Participate in meetings, workshops and presentations.
Provide technical support and guidance related to sustainability and certification requirements.
Contribute to building and maintaining strong professional client relationships.

Service Development
Support the preparation of technical and commercial proposals.
Help identify opportunities within existing client relationships.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of services, methodologies and tools.
Monitor industry trends and developments related to sustainability and ESG.

Team Collaboration and Development
Support the onboarding and development of junior team members through knowledge sharing and day-to-day guidance.
Collaborate closely with colleagues to achieve project objectives and deliver high-quality services.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Building Services Engineering, Construction, Energy, Environmental Sciences, Sustainability, or a related field.
  • 2–5 years of professional experience, ideally in projects related to the built environment, including design, construction, project management, technical advisory, energy efficiency, building performance, or sustainability certification.
  • Basic understanding of the building design and construction process, with an interest in developing deeper technical knowledge of building projects.
  • Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings and technical documentation at a basic level, and to identify relevant information within drawings, specifications, technical datasheets, reports, and other project documents.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to connect and synthesize information from different disciplines and sources.
  • Ability and willingness to learn new concepts, standards, and technical requirements quickly.
  • Availability for site visits and direct collaboration with designers, engineers, project managers, contractors, and other project stakeholders.
  • Strong English communication skills, both written and spoken.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, communication, and prioritization skills.

Additional Information

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with LEED, BREEAM, WELL, EDGE, or similar sustainability standards.
  • Relevant professional accreditation (e.g., LEED GA/AP, BREEAM Assessor, WELL AP, etc.).
  • Experience in building design, construction, or technical advisory projects.
  • Experience with sustainability certification or energy efficiency projects.
  • Experience with site inspections/audits, commissioning, technical due diligence, or building performance assessments.
  • Experience using AutoCAD, BIM platforms, or document management systems.
