Senior Designer, Transport

The Colliers Engineering and Design team specialises in civil, infrastructure, water engineering, town planning, urban design and transport. Key services provided to developers in this service line include site assessment and due diligence, planning approvals and engineering design through to completion of construction.

We are seeking a talented Principal Designer, Transport to join our growing team in Perth. You will use your civil design skills and experience to development innovative transport design solutions to improve the way people move around our cities and towns.

Specifically: 

• Designing important transport infrastructure 
• Assisting with the creation of legacy projects 
• Contributing to a vibrant and enthusiastic work environment

• Experienced in road and highway geometric design
• Developing detailed design drawings using 12D, OpenRoads (not essential) and AutoCAD
• Experience in working on Main Roads WA projects, designing to Main Roads WA standards (or other state road authority)
• Experience working on Local Government projects
• Sound working knowledge of Austroads, Local Government and Australian standards
• Experience in coordination with internal engineers, designers, and draftspersons for the documentation of civil engineering projects
• An understanding of transport and civil design standards and principles
• An enthusiasm to learn and work on a variety of different design tasks in the transport field.
