Queenstown Central Shopping Centre is seeking a Marketing Manager to lead dynamic campaigns, exciting events, and build strong community engagement. This is a part-time role (30 hours per week) and is based on site.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a strategic marketing plan that elevates Queenstown Central’s profile as the region’s premier food and fashion destination.
- Lead all marketing activities, including campaigns, events, digital strategy, PR, and stakeholder engagement.
- Deliver seasonal promotions, food-focused activations, fashion showcases, and community events that drive foot traffic and sales.
- Manage the marketing budget with creativity and accountability.
- Collaborate with design and social media agencies to create compelling content that reflects our brand.
- Build strong relationships with retailers, customers, and local community partners.
- Stay connected with marketing professionals across NZ to share insights and best practices.
- Contribute to budgeting, reporting, and long-term planning for the Centre.
- Tertiary qualification in Marketing (or similar).
- 3+ years of successful marketing experience, ideally in retail.
- Proficiency in WordPress, Mailchimp, Microsoft Office, and social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram).
- Experience with Google Analytics, Google My Business, and Photoshop or Canva is a plus.
- Strong content and copywriting skills.
- Excellent time management, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities.
- A passionate, self-motivated personality who thrives in a small, collaborative team.
- Ability to think outside the box and deliver creative solutions within budget constraints.
