Overview:
As the Marketing & Communication Coordinator at Colliers Belgium, you will play a pivotal role in supporting and executing our marketing and communication strategies across multiple platforms. You will collaborate closely with various departments, ensuring the seamless creation of engaging content, managing communication materials and organizing key marketing initiatives. This role is ideal for someone with a creative mindset, a hands-on attitude and strong organizational skills, who can thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Key purpose:
The Marketing & Communication Coordinator is responsible for creating innovative, engaging content, organizing marketing activities and leveraging various tools and resources to drive successful communication campaigns. This role supports the Head of Marketing & Communication in ensuring consistent brand presence across all media channels while contributing to Colliers' growth and market leadership.
Key responsibilities:
Content creation and management:
- Develop engaging and innovative content tailored to various platforms, including social media, website, newsletters and press releases.
- Maintain and update a social media content calendar, ensuring consistent and timely posts on Colliers’ social media platforms.
- Write and distribute press releases to relevant media outlets.
- Update the company website to reflect the latest news, projects and insights.
- Ensure regular updates of the intranet and internal newsletters to keep employees informed and engaged.
- Create visually compelling communication materials, including sales documents, brochures, presentations, infographics and pitches using Adobe Creative Suite, PowerPoint, and other tools.
Marketing campaigns and events:
- Organize and coordinate marketing events, both in-person and virtual, ensuring seamless execution from planning to post-event follow-up.
- Manage mailing campaigns to our contact database, ensuring content is aligned with our brand voice and target audience.
- Help with the organization of internal events such as teambuilding activities and team events to foster collaboration and team spirit.
Performance tracking and reporting:
- Track the success of email marketing campaigns and suggest improvements for future initiatives.
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) for campaigns across channels, providing actionable insights for optimization.
Department coordination and administration:
- Support the day-to-day operations of the Marketing & Communication department by handling administrative tasks such as updating budgets, reporting on campaign and managing vendors/suppliers.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (such as Agency, Capital Markets, Occupier Advisory or Research and the central EMEA Team) to ensure alignment between marketing and business goals.
Collaboration and innovation:
- Work closely with the Head of Marketing & Communication to ensure consistency in messaging and branding across all platforms.
- Foster relationships with internal teams to ensure cohesive communication and knowledge sharing.
- Stay updated on the latest marketing trends, tools and best practices, and suggest innovative ideas to drive engagement.
- Education: At least a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communication or a related field.
- Experience: 3 to 5 years of experience in a marketing or communication role (within a B2B environment is a plus).
- Technical skills: Proficiency in MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word) and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Premiere Pro). Experience with digital marketing tools like Google Analytics, Hootsuite or LinkedIn Campaign Manager is a plus.
- Language skills: Fluent in English, Dutch and French
- Project management: Ability to prioritize tasks, work independently and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Interpersonal skills: Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with a keen ability to collaborate across teams and with external partners.
- Creative mindset: A proactive, ideas-driven approach to problem-solving and creativity in developing marketing strategies and content.
