Key services provided to developers in this service line include site assessment and due diligence, planning approvals and engineering design through to completion of construction.
Job Description
As a Lead Consultant, you will be responsible for delivering waste management projects from concept through to completion while maintaining strong client relationships and contributing to business development initiatives.
Key responsibilities include:
- Preparing waste management strategies and technical reports for a range of development projects
- Managing multiple projects simultaneously while meeting budgets and deadlines
- Assessing development proposals against relevant waste management standards and guidelines
- Providing practical and commercially viable waste solutions for residential, mixed-use and commercial developments
- Liaising with clients, architects, planners, developers and approval authorities
- Preparing scopes of work and fee proposals
- Reviewing reports and providing technical guidance to junior consultants
- Identifying opportunities to strengthen client relationships and support business growth
- Contributing to a positive and collaborative team culture
Qualifications
- Experience in waste management consulting or a related field
- Strong knowledge of residential and commercial waste management practices
- An understanding of development approval processes and relevant industry standards
- Excellent report writing and communication skills
- Strong project management and organisational abilities
- The ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment
- A solutions-focused mindset with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
