Job Description

Colliers is seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of Market Insights to lead our market insight teams across Central & Eastern Europe. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing strategic insights into the commercial real estate market, guiding investment decisions, and supporting our clients with data-driven analyzis. The ideal candidate will possess an economic background and the ability to analyze macroeconomic situations, translating them into actionable recommendations for clients in both the occupier and commercial real estate sectors.
 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze macroeconomic conditions and interpret their impact on the commercial real estate market. 
  • Synthesize political, economic, demographic, and real estate data to identify and predict market trends. 
  • Analyze data, source information, and interpret findings to serve as a knowledge partner for the business lines and externally. 
  • Define the context from client data to inform decisions regarding property location selection and investment opportunities for real estate investors. 
  • Understand financial mechanisms, including fund financing, banking, and monetary policy. 
  • Produce insightful reports and studies valuable to occupiers and landlords/real estate sectors. 
  • Develop and execute both short- and long-term market insight plans and programs, to support client engagement and business objectives.
  • Represent the company in client interactions, industry events and at conferences, with publications and presentations.
  • Lead market insights team across multiple CEE countries, ensuring consistent and high-quality output, and fostering a culture of continuous learning and development within the team.
  • Working with marketing colleagues, gather and analyze research and insights related metrics to inform strategies, increase customer conversions, and generate more qualified leads.
  • Report research and insights results periodically to senior leadership.
     

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in market research or a similar role as an economist.
  • Strong understanding of macroeconomic fundamentals and their application in market analyzis, plus the ability to transform complex data into actionable insights.
  • Proven ability to analyze data, identify trends, and provide interpretations.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English.
  • Proficient in people and project management, with a track record of leading successful teams.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, work under pressure, meet deadlines and manage available resources. 
  • Experience in an international environment and understanding of the CEE region and the forces influencing this market.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Knowledge of the commercial real estate market is highly advantageous.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
  • Strong writing skills and the ability to produce content and reports.
  • Team player with experience in content creation and public speaking.
     

Qualifications:

  • Educated to degree level in a related/relevant field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a market research leadership role within the real estate or professional services sector.
