Job Description
We’re looking for someone to lead the migration of our data sources to Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and help the business make the most of GCP’s AI capabilities. This is a hands‑on delivery role where you’ll manage a small team, work with global colleagues, and partner with the business to deliver scalable, secure data solutions.
What you’ll do:
- Lead the migration of on prem databases and datasets into Google Cloud Platform (GCP), ensuring integrity and security.
- Design and maintain scalable data pipelines with offshore engineers to support integration and migration projects.
- Collaborate with analysts, data scientists, and business stakeholders to deliver accessible, high quality data solutions.
- Manage and mentor a Power BI developer and engineers, guiding delivery of dashboards and reports.
- Implement best practices in data governance, quality, and security, while monitoring and improving pipeline performance.
Qualifications
- Experience managing projects and teams.
- Strong background in cloud platforms (ideally GCP).
- Skills in Python, SQL/NoSQL, BigQuery, and ETL tools.
- Familiarity with Dataflow, Docker, Kubernetes, and data lakes.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
