An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Residential Assistant Property Manager looking to take the next step in their career as a Property Manager. This role will be managing an exciting Build to Rent portfolio under our brand PRD Melbourne Apartments, which includes hand selected apartments across Melbourne’s most iconic residential projects.
In this role, you will be based in our Melbourne CBD office alongside Colliers Residential team, and maintain close liaison with tenants and one institutional landlord, foster efficient, harmonious, and close working relationships as well as preparation of all related reports, correspondence, and documentation as required.
The key responsibilities of the role will include:
- Liaise regularly with institutional build to rent client, regarding all aspects of management, including providing recommendations and conducting rent reviews, lease renewals and leasing along with other tenant negotiations as required, in a timely manner
- Liaise with tenants regarding lease administration and polices / procedures relating to occupancy issues
- Undertake frequent inspections in order to oversee the presentation and maintenance of the property assets, ensuring high standards of appearance at all times
- Position and protect the investment performance of assigned property assets, ensuring profitability through diligent and professional management
- Implementation of preventative maintenance services
- Control the collection and reconciliation of monies, including rentals, outgoings, and recoverable costs in conjunction with strict arrears management practices
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have prior experience in Residential Property Management including the following:
- Solid background in administration and proficient in Microsoft Office
- Strong interpersonal skills to manage clients effectively
- Exposure or background in property management
- Estate Agents Licence or Agent’s Representative, or ability to obtain one
