Senior Valuer to Director, Middle Markets & Government Valuations

Our Valuation & Advisory Services team values a diverse range of assets across Australia, including commercial, industrial, retail, healthcare, hospitality, accommodation, and rural and agribusiness properties. We also have specialist valuers in childcare, self-storage, data centres, and service stations.

Our expanding Brisbane CBD office currently has several openings for qualified and experienced Valuers. The role will benefit from an established client base and existing appointments. We are particularly interested in professionals who specialise or wish to work in our Middle Markets and Government & Legal Teams (Legal/Resumption, Government Portfolio, and Asset Valuations).

As a key member of Colliers’ Valuation & Advisory Services team, you will provide detailed valuations and consultancy advice and will undertake a wide variety of tasks including the collection and analysis of sales and leasing evidence, completion of cash flow models and the delivery of timely and accurate valuation reports.

At Colliers you will be supported in your role by a strong national management team, local administration support, good data and reporting systems and a cohesive team.

In addition, you will:

• Attend client and industry functions to interact with clients and gain market and business knowledge
• Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external clients
• Contribute analyses to the transaction database
• Work collaboratively with other Colliers’ divisions by seeking and referring opportunities
• Support the Managing Director and Queensland Director through achievement of your individual revenue budget and with our broader enterprise plan
• Be a champion for risk management
• Mentor and support junior team members in their career development

To be successful you will need to demonstrate;

• Strong attention to detail
• The ability to build relationships with key internal and external contacts
• Intermediate to Advanced level MS Office skills
• Proactive and self-motivated – keen to add value to the team
• Tertiary qualification in property valuations field,
• Membership of the API and a Registered Valuer
