Job Description
We are currently seeking to recruit a Senior Support Engineer to manage and deliver technical solutions to the Colliers Australian Engineering and Design team. This newly created role will play a crucial part in supporting our rapidly expanding E&D business across Australia. Reporting to the IT Infrastructure Manager, your focus areas will include network, infrastructure, applications, cloud technologies, and security. Additionally, the role involves performing regular audits, ensuring compliance, and collaborating with the service desk and service line representatives to ensure applications are fit for purpose and running smoothly.
Key responsibilities
- Recommend improvements to existing applications and prepare proposals for new software development projects.
- Manage E & D technical support and coordinate resolutions with E & D National System.
- Monitor and report application systems errors to appropriate vendor or support team.
- Provide training to team members and end users of modern technologies as needed.
Qualifications
To be successful in this challenging role, you will require:
- Certificate or Degree in Computer science
- At least 5 years of experience in application development, installation, configuration, and maintenance
- Strong knowledge of software development life cycle methodologies
- Ability to configure and troubleshoot network (LAN / WAN/WLAN) issues
