Job Description
Reporting to the National Director, Research, you'll play a key role within Colliers' Industrial business, partnering with market-leading experts across the country to produce the insights, forecasts and market intelligence that support client strategy, major transactions and business growth.
More than a traditional research role, you'll sit at the intersection of our Industrial, Occupier Services, Property Economics, Urban Planning, Engineering & Design, Valuations and Advisory teams. This unique position provides exposure to the full lifecycle of industrial real estate, from occupier strategy and site selection through to planning, development, investment and transaction activity.
Working alongside some of the industry's most respected specialists, you'll help shape market commentary, support client engagement and contribute to the delivery of integrated solutions that few businesses in the market can offer.
Key responsibilities
- Analyse industrial market activity, trends and performance across Australia
- Manage and maintain industrial datasets to support market reporting and analysis
- Produce thought leadership, market commentary and research publications
- Develop market forecasts and contribute to Colliers' industrial sector outlook
- Support client presentations, pitches and business development initiatives
- Partner with internal stakeholders across Leasing, Investments, Valuations and Advisory
- Assist with media, PR and marketing opportunities that leverage Colliers' research and market expertise
Qualifications
We're looking for someone who enjoys forming an opinion, challenging assumptions and translating data into practical, commercial insights.
You'll also bring:
- Experience in a property research, economics, consultancy, financial services or related analytical environment
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- Exceptional written communication and report writing capability
- Advanced Excel skills and experience working with large datasets
- Confidence engaging with senior stakeholders and presenting insights
- A collaborative approach and genuine curiosity about market trends
- Experience with Power BI, Tableau, RCA, Cordell or similar platforms will be highly regarded
