Are you an experienced Property Accountant with a proven ability to lead and inspire teams? We are seeking a dedicated Senior Property Accountant to join our esteemed Real Estate Management Services team in our Auckland CBD office. If you possess a strong background in property accounting and team management, we invite you to consider this exceptional opportunity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the accounting functions for key REMS clients within your portfolio, ensuring the delivery of accurate and timely financial information.
- Ensure adherence to financial compliance and Colliers policies.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior and other property accountants.
- Assist with financial requirements for both current and prospective clients.
- Prepare and file statutory returns for REMS clients.
- Maintain lease information and manage tenant invoicing within the property accounting system.
- Support the REMS Senior Leadership Team with property management software and process improvements.
- Prepare comprehensive annual and monthly financial statements, including operating expense reconciliations.
- Assist in the preparation of annual budgets for REMS clients.
- Manage monthly cash flow and reconcile cashbooks.
- Participate in client management meetings as required.
- Lead initiatives for change and efficiency within the REMS business.
- Perform general accounting duties and investigations as needed.
