We have an exciting opportunity for a suitably qualified Senior Financial Accountant to join our high performing Corporate Finance team.
Reporting to the Financial Controller, this is a challenging and technically focussed role, responsible for producing accurate and timely financial reporting information for our Corporate Finance team.
The scope of the role will include:
- Month-end close duties including balance sheet reconciliations and accruals
- Involved in Month-end reporting, manage journals postings and general ledger reconciliations
- Manage statutory requirements such as BAS returns, FBT, GST, Income Tax compliance and employment taxes
- Dealing with internal and external queries on all revenue related system matters
- Manage daily treasury positions of the company (forecast vs actual) and make recommendations on funding action
- Ensure control outlined within Sarbanes Oxley Legislation are understood and executed
- Partner with corporate finance team on audit / ad-hoc queries and assisting with financial statement preparation
- Involve in process and system improvement strategies or projects as directed by Finance team initiatives.

Qualifications
- Experience in a similar role within large corporate environment (ideal).
- Degree qualified in a field with commerce, business, accounting and/or finance. CA/CPA qualified preferred.
- Big-4 experience highly regarded but not essential.
- Experience with large ERP systems.
- Advanced Excel Skills.
- A high attention to detail, strong work ethic as well as excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- The ability to prioritise work, meet deadlines and operate efficiently in a highly complex environment.
