Property Accountant

We have a great opportunity for an experienced Accountant to join our award-winning Real Estate Management Services team in our Christchurch office.

We are looking for a motivated and tech-savvy professional to deliver accounting services to clients.

This role is full time opportunity with hours to be agreed with the successful candidate. This is a fixed-term opportunity for 10 months.

The value you'll add

• Support the client accounting function on assigned Commercial and Retail portfolios
• Assist Senior Property Accountant in testing financial system enhancements and implementation
• Prepare financial statements for clients, including operating expense account wash-up allocations
• Prepare tenant invoicing and manage tenant debtors
• Assist in the preparation of annual budgets
• Ensure financial compliance and controls are adhered to
• Assist with system and process improvements

• 3+ years of successful experience in finance
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Intermediate Excel skills
