The Colliers Engineering and Design team specialises in civil, infrastructure, water engineering, town planning and urban design. Key services provided to developers in this service line include site assessment and due diligence, planning approvals and engineering design through to completion of construction.


Job Description

We are currently seeking a Structura; Engineer for our growing team. You will be supported by a highly skilled team of engineering professionals in a culture that supports professional development and career growth.

This position will be based in our Subiaco office, leading local and regional projects across Australia but be based fulltime in our Subiaco office.

The Role

As a Project Leader - Structural with Colliers you will lead projects from initial concepts through to site inspection services as required for Structural engineering projects including built form, civic and public infrastructure, land development, and more.

Determining construction methods, materials and quality standards, and drafting and interpreting specifications, drawings, plans, construction methods and procedures

Monitoring changes to designs, assessing effects on cost, and measuring, valuing and negotiating variations to designs

Understand and apply the technical aspects of design utilising the Australian Standards and relevant codes of practice.

Provide a high level of client service, liaising and coordinating with internal and external project stakeholders to communicate project updates, develop innovative solutions to challenges.


Qualifications

You will have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Structural Engineering.
  • 5 or more years experience working in a structural consulting environment.
  • Ability to lead a project, manage budget and programs to meet clients project needs.
  • Ability to design civil engineering schemes and designs utilising the Australian Standards and codes of practice.
  • Technical expertise to include builtform civil, land development and/or transport.
  • Excellent communication skills, including client liaison and technical writing skills.
