We are seeking to appoint a Planner in our Brisbane office. This is an exciting opportunity to join our growing Engineering & Design team. Reporting directly to the Principal Planner you will be responsible for the planning, urban design and project management related duties on a range of projects, both on site and in the office.
Specifically:
- Preparation of Statements of Environmental Effects to accompany Development Applications which are fit for purpose, practical, cost effective, and comply with relevant statutory controls
- Review, assist and provide urban development advice for developers, industry, business, Government and Local Government in relation to a range of matters, including:
- Planning proposals
- Due diligence for site acquisitions
- Contributions, Land, LEP and rezoning planning
- Infrastructure planning
- Lodge development applications, construction certificates, subdivision certificates, service authority approvals and other applications with Council and State Government agencies as required.
- Keep up to date with relevant legislation, policies and regulations associated with urban development and town planning.

- Tertiary qualifications in town planning
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
