Part-Time IT Finance Administrator (12-Month Contract, 22 Hours per Week)

Are you an organised and detail-oriented professional with a background in financial administration? We are looking for a Part-Time IT Finance Administrator to join our Technology department on a 12-month contract. This role offers 22 hours per week, with working hours based on an agreement between the successful candidate and their line manager.
As an IT Finance Administrator, you will support the Technology Service Coordinator in managing the financial and administrative functions of the Technology department. This includes overseeing the annual budget and forecasting process, handling IT procurement, processing supplier invoices, and managing hardware assets.
IT Budget Administration
Administer the UK IT budget, including initial budget preparation and periodic forecasting.
Assist in providing commentary on actual spend vs. forecast.
Process all IT supplier invoices through our in-house system.
Generate cost breakdowns by location, department, and resource code.
Handle supplier invoice queries and manage accruals for unprocessed invoices.
Review and monitor computer cost disbursements against budget.
IT Procurement
Purchase hardware, software, and peripherals in alignment with the budget.
Conduct IT stock audits and provide Finance with updates on new, returned, or missing laptops.
Manage software license renewals, ensuring timely action and budget alignment.
IT Hardware Administration
Maintain and update the asset file for all IT equipment, including serial numbers and invoice details.
Track hardware upgrades and returns.
Organise the disposal or donation of outdated laptops, ensuring compliance and proper documentation.
Administration
Process service requests via ServiceNow, including requests related to software, hardware, and procurement.
Experience in budget reporting and financial administration.
Highly organised and self-motivated.
Strong time management and communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
