Marketing Manager – Agribusiness (12-month Contract Role)

This contract role offers the opportunity to shape and execute national marketing plans, drive brand visibility, and foster business relationships and partnerships—all within a well-established business with strong platforms and processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Social Media Leadership - manage all social media platforms via a central portal, including LinkedIn, Instagram, and Facebook, ensuring consistent and engaging content.
- Media & PR Strategy -build broker relationships using tools like Meltwater. Develop media engagement strategies with rural press, national real estate outlets, and business journalists to amplify agent visibility and thought leadership.
- Brand & Campaign Excellence - champion the Agribusiness brand through PR, speaking engagements, digital advertising, SEO, and high-quality copywriting. Monitor ROI and optimise media spend for maximum impact.
- Content & Collateral Creation - prepare press releases, presentations, and marketing materials that communicate key initiatives and drive engagement.
- Partnerships - collaborate with media contacts and agribusiness partners to craft tailored marketing packages that resonate with Agribusiness buyers and vendors whilst continuing our external relationships with Agribusiness partners.
- Website Management - upload and manage content—including copy, photos, and videos—on agribusinesshorizons.com, ensuring consistency and quality.
- Brand Compliance - ensure national adherence to brand guidelines, maintaining a near-perfect record of compliance and brand integrity.
Core Competencies & Role Requirements
- Degree in Marketing, Business, or Communications
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar marketing or communications role
- Energetic personality with strong relationship-building skills
- High attention to detail and excellent problem-solving abilities
- Strong time management and prioritisation skills—essential for handling high volumes of digital content
- Familiarity with Canva, Adobe suites, and Copilot is a plus
- Experience uploading content to templated platforms like WordPress
- Advantageous: skills in digital marketing, audience targeting, and CRM platforms such as Salesforce Marketing Cloud
