This role is your entry point into Colliers’ Consultancy Career Stream—designed for curious, analytical, and collaborative graduates who want to build a career as a trusted advisor in property, economics, and urban development.

You’ll join a nationally connected team enhanced by our Property & Economics team's leading data intelligence and market insights. Every day will be different, and over time, you will have broader opportunities. Initially, you will report directly to a director and be a key contributor to a range of client projects, including:

  • Researching, analysing, and compiling a range of qualitative and quantitative data generally relating to trade areas, competitive and demographic analysis, population and spending forecasts, financial modelling, as well as economic impacts across a variety of property types.
  • Undertaking a broad range of reporting activities with diverse requirements.
  • Working with a range of different blue-chip clients, where you’ll have the opportunity to evolve both your client and consulting skills.

Qualifications

What You’ll Bring

  • Tertiary qualifications in Economics, Property Economics or a related field.
  • Highly developed research and analytical skills.
  • Demonstrably strong communication skills.
  • Ability to take direction, apply initiative, and work independently.
  • A ‘team player’ approach.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a strong concern for accuracy.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage your output to meet required deadlines.

Why Colliers?

  • Work on client projects from day one
  • Learn from highly experienced professionals across planning, economics, and advisory
  • Gain exposure to a diverse range of sectors and project stages
  • Be part of a growing, nationally connected team with strong local expertise
  • Build a long‑term career with structured development and mentoring
