The EMEA SAP Product Support Manager is essential in enhancing and supporting the SAP SuccessFactors Platform (including SAP S/4 HANA and other integrations like Concur and Salesforce CRM). This role oversees all technical aspects of the SAP platform during live service and manages integrations to ensure seamless data flow and system functionality across approximately nineteen countries and over four thousand employees.
As the SAP Product Manager, you will guide the strategic direction, development, and lifecycle management of SAP products within our organization. You will leverage your deep knowledge of SAP solutions to drive innovation and maximize value from our SAP investments, collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet our customers' needs.
Role Overview and Responsibilities:
- Product Support and Service Delivery:
- Manage relationships with AMS Delivery Partners and align with ITIL standards for support and change management.
- Build strong partnerships with SAP Delivery Partners to ensure effective knowledge transfer and technical governance.
- Coordinate with the EMEA IT Team on security audits and continuity planning.
- Product Strategy and Roadmap:
- Develop a sharp vision and strategy for SAP solutions, aligning with business objectives and market needs.
- Maintain a detailed product roadmap, highlighting future initiatives and enhancements.
- Requirements Gathering and Prioritization:
- Work closely with customers and internal teams to gather requirements, prioritize features based on business value, and translate these into detailed product specifications.
- Product Development and Delivery:
- Coordinate with stakeholders to manage product backlogs, define release plans, and ensure timely delivery of enhancements.
- Conduct UAT and collect feedback to ensure products meet functionality and usability standards.
- Product Performance and Optimisation:
- Drive initiatives to improve product usability, performance, and scalability.
- Monitor KPIs and analyse feedback to continuously refine product offerings.
- Collaboration and Stakeholder Management:
- Support senior management in delivering against agreed SLAs and engage with key stakeholders to discuss platform operations and future directions.
- Foster relationships with SAP partners and vendors to enhance product integrations and offerings.
Qualifications and Personal Attributes:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Minimum 3 years in product management, specifically with SAP solutions.
- Strong strategic and leadership skills, with excellent communication abilities.
- Proven experience in launching and managing enterprise software products.
- Familiarity with agile methodologies and tools like JIRA; SAP certifications and ITIL Certification are pluses.
- An initiative-taking, problem-solving approach with strong organizational skills.
