Job Description

Role Summary

Colliers is seeking a dynamic and enterprising communications and content expert to lead a core function within our EMEA Marketing & Communications team. As Head of Communications & Content, you will shape and deliver high-impact communications strategies and campaigns that enhance our brand reputation, support business growth, and amplify our thought leadership across commercial real estate services.

Working collaboratively with marketing, research, creative, and digital teams, as well as service line and business leaders, you will drive multi-channel content that speaks to our clients, our people, and the wider industry — reinforcing Colliers' position as a global leader in real estate services and investment management.

Key Purpose

To lead the creation and execution of content and communications initiatives that drive engagement, support business priorities, and elevate Colliers’ market profile across the EMEA region.

Key Responsibilities

Communications Excellence

  • Design and deliver compelling, multi-channel content plans that elevate our insights, services, leadership and expertise.

  • Deconstruct complex business themes into clear, engaging communications for internal and external audiences.

  • Produce thought leadership and campaigns that reflect our tone of voice and brand values across digital, media, and social platforms.

Strategic Thinking & Content Leadership

  • Shape regional communications strategies in support of key business initiatives, acquisitions, and leadership changes.

  • Identify, craft, and amplify stories aligned to our corporate, service line, and thematic priorities.

  • Manage regional content calendars and campaign rollouts with consistent messaging and measurable outcomes.

People & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Lead and mentor a matrix of in-country PR and content professionals to develop capability and consistency across the region.

  • Collaborate effectively with business leaders, senior stakeholders, and global colleagues to align priorities and maximise reach.

  • Offer expert guidance and constructive feedback to internal teams to drive best practice.

Media & Platform Management

  • Manage content performance using analytics tools and adapt strategies to enhance effectiveness.

  • Maintain strong relationships with sector-specific media, ensuring impactful coverage of Colliers activity.

  • Leverage the martech and AI tools to enhance efficiency, engagement, and content delivery.

Project & Campaign Management

  • Lead content workstreams and stakeholder engagement for major campaigns and strategic business initiatives.
  • Track campaign milestones, measure success, and adapt as necessary to ensure outcomes are met.

  • Maintain a service-oriented approach, acting as a trusted partner to the business.

Qualifications

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, English or a related field.

  • Extensive experience in a managerial-level communications or content leadership role, ideally within real estate, B2B, professional or financial services.

  • Demonstrable success in creating and managing impactful multi-channel campaigns.

  • Excellent writing, editing, and storytelling skills across digital, media, and internal communication platforms.

  • Proven experience in media relations and crisis communications.

  • Strong familiarity with digital content tools, content management systems, SEO, analytics and social media platforms.

  • Skilled in Microsoft Office and comfortable adopting new technologies, including AI-powered tools.

  • Native-level English proficiency is essential; additional language skills are a plus.
