The UK business is headquartered in London, with over 1200 specialists throughout 16 offices across the UK and Ireland.
Expanding client relationships collaboratively is one of the key cornerstones of our corporate business plan and we have invested in Salesforce as the platform to help us do this. We are now seeking a Client Development Manager to join the Client Engagement function within the Marcomms team and be responsible for working with our core business lines to help them create and drive forward implementable business development plans focused on expanding and developing client relationships. The plans will be fuelled by our CRM platform, Salesforce, and this role will also be responsible for driving the effective use of Salesforce across the business as our primary client relationship management tool, driving growth and maximising revenue opportunities for individual teams across our business.
Reporting into the Head of Client Engagement, the Client Development Manager will work within the Marcomms team from our London HQ.
This role requires a strategic thinker with a proven track record in utilizing CRM systems to manage business development plans. The role will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams such as Marketing and Operations to design and implement CRM strategies for multiple service lines aligned with business objectives.
In this role, you will…
- Strategic BD Planning: collaborate and lead core service lines across the UK business to create tailored, implementable business development strategies aimed at enhancing relationships with both current and prospective clients, ultimately boosting revenue streams.
- Client Segmentation and Targeting: utilising Salesforce and other relevant platforms, analyse client data in order to identify key client targets for growth
- Connect the business to client intel: help the business to navigate Salesforce / connect to relevant colleagues in order to leverage the client intel we already possess as a company, maximising low hanging fruit that might otherwise be missed
- Performance Monitoring and Reporting: help teams to develop and maintain KPIs and dashboards to track the effectiveness of CRM initiatives and provide regular reporting and insights to senior management
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: collaborate with multiple service lines, Marketing, and Operations to ensure CRM strategies align with overall business goals and objectives
- Change Management: drive adoption of CRM best practices and processes across the organisation through training, communication, and change management initiatives with Salesforce at the centre
- Salesforce adoption: encourage the adoption of Salesforce by service line across the business encouraging teams to both utilise the client information already available as well as input new client information that can then benefit the wider company. Ensure all service lines are using the information we have on Salesforce to target new business and win repeat work. Work with the business to inspire a ‘sharing’ culture which sees the regular sharing of client intel on Salesforce by all fee earners and Key Client Managers
- Salesforce optimisation: ensure the optimal configuration, customization, and maintenance of the Salesforce platform to meet business requirements by working closely with the Salesforce Technical team to explore how additional bolt-ons such as Introhive can be maximized and adopted across the business
- Internal comms: design and roll-out a series of eye catching internal comms designed to reinforce key messages around best practice Key Client Management with collaboration and the use of Salesforce at their heart
- Training/continuous improvement: work closely with our Learning & Development team to deliver specialised training programs to help the business upskill when it comes to BD and CRM with Salesforce playing pivotal role
You’re an expert
- Proven experience in Salesforce administration with a focus on real estate applications.
- Experience working with Salesforce or MS Dynamics across a multi-service line business.
- Understanding of real estate business development and client relationship management a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to analyse complex real estate processes and recommend tailored solutions.
- A self-starter who is proficient in motivating and encouraging business change.
- Salesforce certification(s) are a plus.
