Job Description

Coastlands has cultivated a space in the heart of the Kāpiti community for people to work, connect, shop, and play while enjoying purpose-built pleasant surroundings. Further to this, Coastlands have been actively involved with significant community sponsorships and activities.

A rare opportunity has recently become available for an experienced property professional to lead our onsite team at Coastlands Shopping Centre.

We are seeking a passionate Centre Manager who is motivated to take on the responsibility of that interface and involvement, as well as effectively manage the daily operations of the Centre and ensure the premises are maintained at a high standard of presentation. 


The value you’ll add

  •  Effectively manage the day-to-day operations of the Centre, including maintenance, programmes, and contractors 
  • Establish strategic direction and annual business plans for the Centre, in conjunction with the owner’s directives
  • Lead the onsite Centre team
  • Maintain the Centre asset to optimise returns through efficient onsite management
  • Work with the broader team in preparing Centre budgets – income and expenditure
  • Work with retailers to maximise sales performance, provide advice and assistance
  • Collaborate with other Colliers business lines to maximise and enhance the centre customer experience
  • Contribute to successful outcomes across leasing, partnership revenue and marketing functions
  • Think creatively around forming partnerships with key external community groups and participate in community functions

Qualifications

  • Proven and extensive experience in a similar role
  • Proven experience effectively leading a successful team
  • Proficient in interpreting and communicating tenancy leases
  • Experience analysing and applying strategies to address consumer behaviour and trends
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management skills
  • Proficient in the use of building management software and technologies
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills
