We have a great opportunity for an Assistant Accountant to join the Real Estate Management Services team in our Christchurch CBD office.

We are looking for a motivated and tech-savvy professional to deliver property accounting services to clients.

This is a fixed-term opportunity for 10 months.

The value you'll add

  • Assist in transactional tasks for the preparation of client reporting 
  • Assist to process month-end journals and prepare monthly client reporting
  • Assist with the preparation of annual budgets for clients
  • Assist with balance sheet reconciliation
  • Optimise processes and assist with system testing
  • Support the Accountants in overseeing clients’ accounting functions in your assigned portfolio
  • Assist as required with the implementation of the new accounting software

Qualifications

  • 2+ years’ successful experience in finance
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Intermediate Excel skills
