Job Description
We have an opportunity for an Assistant Accountant to join our Finance team in our Auckland CBD office. We are looking for a motivated professional to perform a wide range of duties to support the finance function.
The value you'll add
- Daily invoice integration and cash receipting
- Assist with intercompany account and balance sheet reconciliation
- Manage bank reconciliations
- Prepare weekly cash and cashflow statements
- Prepare revenue and account management reports
- Establish and maintain strong working relationships with stakeholders
- Optimise processes and assist with system testing
- Assist with annual audits
- Support the team to ensure success
Qualifications
- 2+ years in a similar role
- Relevant qualifications
- Strong working knowledge of Project Works (PW), Our Deals, SUN, Concur and Xero within a medium-large organisation
- Experience working with multiple entities
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Ability to develop and maintain relationships with internal and external clients
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Proactive and self-disciplined
