Assistant Accountant

We have an opportunity for an Assistant Accountant to join our Finance team in our Auckland CBD office. We are looking for a motivated professional to perform a wide range of duties to support the finance function. 

The value you'll add

• Daily invoice integration and cash receipting
• Assist with intercompany account and balance sheet reconciliation
• Manage bank reconciliations
• Prepare weekly cash and cashflow statements
• Prepare revenue and account management reports
• Establish and maintain strong working relationships with stakeholders
• Optimise processes and assist with system testing
• Assist with annual audits
• Support the team to ensure success

• 2+ years in a similar role
• Relevant qualifications
• Strong working knowledge of Project Works (PW), Our Deals, SUN, Concur and Xero within a medium-large organisation 
• Experience working with multiple entities 
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Ability to develop and maintain relationships with internal and external clients 
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Proactive and self-disciplined
