Job Description
Colliers Dublin are hiring a Senior Surveyor to work in our Hotels & Leisure department as part of our Valuation and Advisory Services Division.
This role offers the right candidate an exciting opportunity to join a growing and ambitious team.
The objective of the role is to assist the Head of Hotels, Directors and Associate Directors of Advisory Services in the continued growth and development of the Hotels & Leisure Advisory Service lines including agency and valuation mandates.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- To assist with the continued growth and development of the Hotel & Leisure Division at Colliers Ireland including the areas as follows;
- Producing high quality and accurate RICS Red Book valuation reports
- Various aspects of valuations and appraisals with a focus on trade related assets
- Professional Advice to existing and new clients
- Development/Site Appraisals and Feasibility assessments
- Assisting with Agency and Brokerage instructions
- Asset acquisitions on and off market
- Client Liaison and Entertainment
- Assist with Business Development targets.
- Client care and servicing of existing customers.
- Undertaking Market Research and Opinion/Research papers for inclusion in various publications.
- Competent in all valuation methodologies and use of various valuation software including Argus, Xcel, DCF Cashflows etc.
- Working on your own initiative and proficiency in undertaking Red Book reports and valuations for various purposes and clients.
- Team Player with the ability to work to tight timelines, ability to direct junior members and work within a team environment.
- Collaborating with the Investment, Retail, Business Space, Property Management, Residential and Development Land teams.
- Experience in valuing trade later assets an advantage.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Assist in the delivery of Special Projects which requires short and intensive time delivery requirements.
- Excellent client-facing presentation skills.
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office, PowerPoint and Excel.
Qualifications
- Must hold an SCSI accredited property degree such as Property Economics (Bsc Surv.) and ability to obtain a PSRA license.
- Full Driver’s Licence.
