The EMEA Occupier Services business is headquartered in London, with over 100 specialists delivering a range of services to corporate occupier clients. Our EMEA OS client is seeking a dynamic and experienced PMO to oversee the governance, planning, and delivery of construction and workplace transformation projects across the UK & Ireland. This role will ensure strategic alignment, risk management, and operational excellence across a diverse portfolio of real estate initiatives. This role reports into a client Programme Manager, based in London.
Key Responsibilities
- PMO skills: Deliver a UK PMO function for construction and workplace projects.
- Portfolio Oversight: Monitor project performance, budgets, timelines, and resource allocation across multiple sites.
- Governance & Compliance: Ensure adherence to client’s internal controls, Building Safety Act requirements, and local regulations.
- Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with internal teams, external contractors, consultants, and regulatory bodies.
- Reporting & Insights: Deliver executive-level dashboards, risk assessments, and progress reports.
- Process Improvement: Drive continuous improvement in project delivery methodologies and tools.
- Change Management: Support transition planning and communication for impacted business units.
Skills & Experience
- Proven experience in PMO leadership within construction and real estate environments.
- Strong understanding of UK building regulations, including the Building Safety Act 2022.
- Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera, Power BI).
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Experience working in large, matrixed organisations, ideally professional services or corporate environments.
Qualifications
- Degree in Construction Management, Project Management, or related field.
- PMI, PRINCE2, or APM certification preferred.
- Knowledge of RIBA stages, CDM regulations, and sustainability standards is a plus.
