Job Description

Colliers is recruiting for a Senior Manager / Associate Director, Bid Management within our APAC Occupier Services department, mainly for the Enterprise Clients team.

The role will be crucial in supporting the team to win our biggest and most competitive client pitches, through best-practice win strategies, proposals and presentation tools.

This is a pivotal role to drive the quality, consistency and client-centric focus for pitch collateral and the process across all major service lines.

The core skills and experience required, but not limited to, are:

  • Manage the end-to-end process for RFPs.
  • Develop proposal/presentation/pricing content for all Request For Proposals (or similar such as RFIs/RFQs etc) responses for all of Enterprise Clients service lines including Workplace Advisory, Transaction Management, Occupier Strategy, Lease Administration.
  • Support other Enterprise Clients hubs within APAC/EMEA and US with RFP responses/pricing/presentation collateral.
  • Support regional local broker pursuits where appropriate.
  • Ensure all pursuits across the Enterprise Clients hubs are tracked and bid/pursuit pipeline is kept up-to-date.
  • Provide hands-on management and support including leading the drafting, editing and formatting of each bid.
  • Take lead on preparation, management and delivery of top opportunity pitches
  • Facilitate strategy meetings of internal stakeholders
  • Develop and project manage/coordinate project plans, responsibilities and deadlines
  • Partner with business lines to position key content messages and form a client-centric compelling story for qualified top opportunities
  • Copywrite proposal and presentation material ensuring key messages are presented clearly and are client-centric
  • Run pitch rehearsals as required
  • Conduct internal and client debriefs (as required)
  • Track and analyse the Asia pitch tracker highlighting significant opportunities that should be supported.
  • Provide quarterly pitch reports for leadership
  • Communicate and implement any pitch best practices from around the region to local teams
  • Be prepared to occasionally work outside traditional office hours to meet strict client deadlines
  • Consistent and thorough follow up to internal stakeholders and senior brokers
  • Assist with some administrative tasks related to Business Development such as win announcements, client lists, metrics tracking, client feedback surveys etc.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor degree or above 
  •  

Additional Information

  • Minimum of 7 years of related experience with proven track record in pitch/bid management (knowledge of the property industry particularly corporate real estate would be an advantage)
  • Experience in similar role preferred. Business Development, Sales & Marketing prior experience required
  • Excellent English writing skills 
  • Proficient, organized, with a strong focus on quality output
  • Work calmly under pressure and to tight deadlines with meticulous attention to detail
  • Self-starter, proactive and able to work on own initiative with minimal supervision
  • Excellent at handling multiple tasks, multiple stakeholders and competing demands in a corporate environment
  • Strong ability to communicate effectively through all mediums and at all levels, both internally and externally
  • Culturally aware and comfortable working in an international corporate environment
  • Ability to establish and maintain positive relationships with internal clients
  • Advanced computer skills in PowerPoint and Microsoft Word. Experience in Excel, InDesign and SharePoint will be advantageous
