We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) Technical Lead to join our Global Transformation Programme team. This critical role focuses on the successful implementation and optimisation of our Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system across 18 countries. The SAC Technical Lead will partner with FP&A teams to support accurate forecasting, budgeting, and planning processes, ensuring smooth integration and data integrity across the entire organisation.
Key Purpose:
Lead the design, development, and implementation of SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) planning solutions, supporting financial planning and analysis (FP&A) processes to enhance business forecasting, budgeting, and operational efficiency across a unified global ERP system.
Key Responsibilities:
SAC Planning and Development:
- Design, develop, and maintain SAC planning models, input forms, and reports ("stories").
- Write and optimize data actions to automate planning workflows and enhance efficiency.
- Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and consistency across SAC models and reports.
- Manage integration points between SAC and other systems, particularly S/4HANA.
FP&A Support:
- Collaborate with Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) teams to understand forecasting, budgeting, and planning needs, ensuring SAC solutions align with business requirements.
- Provide technical expertise to enhance FP&A capabilities using SAC tools and methodologies.
Business Analysis and Requirement Gathering:
- Work closely with business stakeholders across the organization to gather, document, and analyse business requirements.
- Translate business needs into technical specifications, ensuring SAC solutions are aligned with business goals.
Technical Partnership:
- Serve as a technical advisor to business users, providing expert guidance and insights on SAC’s capabilities.
- Lead training sessions and workshops to increase user understanding and adoption of SAC tools.
Continuous Improvement:
- Identify and implement process improvement opportunities in SAC development and usage.
- Stay updated on the latest SAC features, leveraging new functionalities to improve overall system performance.
- Support the Data Lead in data mapping between S/4HANA and SAC.
Skills & Experience:
Required:
- Demonstrable expertise in SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) development, with a strong focus on SAC Planning, including a proven ability to design and implement effective solutions for financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting
- Proven experience supporting FP&A forecasting, budgeting, and planning processes.
- Strong collaboration skills, particularly working across multiple teams and workstreams, including leadership stakeholders.
- Self-motivated and proactive in driving activities to completion.
- Excellent communication skills in English (project language), including presentation and interpersonal abilities.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred:
- SAP Analytics Cloud Certification.
- Experience with other SAP tools and technologies (e.g., SAP BW, SAP HANA).
- Familiarity with financial processes and terminology.
- Knowledge of complementary technologies such as:
- SuccessFactors
- SAP Concur
- Salesforce (CRM)
- TM1 (IBM/Cognos)
- Power BI
- Profisee (Master Data Management system)
