Are you a tech-savvy property accountant with a passion for systems, process improvement, and making a real impact? We’re looking for a dynamic Property & Systems Accountant to join our REMS team and help shape the future of property finance.
As our Property & Systems Accountant, you’ll be the go-to expert for financial systems support, training, and innovation. You’ll work closely with Property Accountants and Facilities Management to ensure seamless financial operations, while also leading system enhancements and automation initiatives.
This is a fixed-term role for 6 months.
What You'll Be Doing:
This role is all about systems leadership within a property accounting environment. You’ll be the first point of contact for finance system queries, the architect of smarter workflows, and the driver of innovation across our financial platforms.
- Provide expert support to Property Accountants on system use and troubleshooting
- Manage user roles, permissions, and compliance within financial systems
- Lead testing and implementation of new software platforms and enhancements
- Develop and maintain documentation for system processes and configurations
- Deliver training and support to finance teams on best practices and new tools
- Monitor system performance and usage to identify opportunities for optimization
- Collaborate with IT and vendors to integrate new modules and platforms
- Champion automation and process improvement initiatives
- Support month-end processes and ensure data integrity across systems
- Relevant qualification or experience in accounting or finance
- Strong knowledge of property accounting systems
- Intermediate to advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, etc.)
- Experience with system implementation, testing, and change management
- A tech-forward mindset with a passion for continuous improvement
- SQL or data query experience (a plus!)
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- A proactive, collaborative approach to working with cross-functional teams
