Job Description
Operations Manager – Facilites Management (Technical) will be responsible for overseeing the complete technical and operational aspects of Facilites Management across multiple sites or a large portfolio. This role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, client handling skills, and team management capabilities to ensure high service standards, safety compliance and cost efficiency.
Oversee day-to-day operations of all technical services including electrical, HVAC, plumbing, fire safety, DG sets, lifts, BMS, etc.
Manage facility teams and vendors to ensure smooth service delivery and adherence to SLAs.
Conduct regular technical audits, preventive maintenance schedules and ensure zero breakdown performance.
Ensure statutory and safety compliance for all building systems as per local and legal standards.
Liaise with clients for service reviews, issue resolution, and continuous improvement.
Prepare budgets, manage operating expenses, and ensure cost-effective operations.
Plan and implement energy-saving and sustainability initiatives.
Lead facility transition projects (e.g., onboarding of new sites, refurbishment, AMC finalization).
Manage AMC/vendor contracts, procurement, and performance evaluation.
Mentor, guide, and upskill the engineering and soft services team.
