Job Description

Reporting to the Global Head of Corporate Technology, the Marketing Systems Director | EMEA is responsible for the end-to-end management, optimization, and strategic evolution of Colliers' marketing systems across the region.

This role plays a critical part in ensuring system stability, driving continuous improvement, and aligning capabilities with business needs. With oversight of both live service delivery and future roadmap development, the Marketing Systems Director will work closely with internal stakeholders, implementation partners, and regional teams to deliver seamless and scalable marketing technology solutions.  

 

Key purpose of role: 

The key purpose of the role is to lead the strategic direction, service delivery, and continuous improvement of the marketing systems across EMEA and the CRM solutions, ensuring they effectively support Colliers' evolving business priorities. 
 

Key responsibilities: 

  1. Product strategy and support
    • Define and communicate a clear product vision and long-term roadmap aligned with business priorities;
    • Monitor and evaluate emerging trends, opportunities, and innovations in Marketing technology;
    • Work in partnership with EMEA Marketing Leadership to develop technology roadmap;
    • Lead and support the CRM team, promoting best practices and collaboration;
    • Mentor and develop team members, ensuring effective resource allocation;
    • Manage Marketing systems support, integrations, and escalations across Colliers EMEA;
    • Oversee work planning, change management, and Agile delivery;
    • Maintain a secure, compliant, and modern CRM ecosystem;
    • Manage relationships with vendors and external partners, ensuring adherence to SLAs and ITIL standards;
    • Ensure security, business continuity, and DR compliance in collaboration with global IT;
    • Ensure system updates and upgrades are tested and implemented without disruption to marketing operations;
    • Collaborate with marketing teams to identify pain points and propose system solutions;
    •  Lead and support continuous improvement projects related to marketing technology;
    •  Develop and maintain marketing dashboards and reports, using Power BI and external reporting platforms.
       
  2. Development and delivery 
    • ​​​​​​​Collaborate with Marketing Product Owners and IT to maintain and deliver marketing requests, namely CRM upgrades and backlog, Website enhancements and integrations, consent management, mass mail solutions and any other marketing solutions;
    • Coordinate the delivery lifecycle: development, testing, release planning, and UAT;
    • Ensure on-time, on-budget delivery of functional enhancements and technical upgrades;
    • Acts as Technical Lead reviewing and producing functional and technical specifications for agreed development work and working with the team to prioritize and manage development requests. 
       
  3. Stakeholder management 
    • ​​​​​​​Partner with Marketing leadership, business process owners, and country-level marketing teams across marketing system ecosystem;
    • Partner with Enterprise Architecture and regional leadership to align technical execution with strategic goals;
    • Report to senior stakeholders on performance metrics, risks, and progress. 
       
  4. Product optimisation 
    • ​​​​​​​Monitor KPIs such as adoption, performance, and satisfaction;
    • Champion continuous improvement and drive initiatives to increase efficiency, usability, and scalability;
    • Incorporate feedback from users and market trends to evolve the platform;
    • Ensure Marketing data security, privacy, and compliance with GDPR and other applicable regulations. 

       

Qualifications and experience:  

  • 5-10+ years’ experience in product management, with specific expertise in Salesforce and marketing solutions;
  • 3+ years proven leadership experience with strong coaching and business engagement capabilities;
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, or equivalent practical experience;
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication abilities;
  • Demonstrated knowledge of CRM system process, marketing processes and integrations, including Finance integrations, Salesforce Marketing cloud, Site Core and SharePoint;
  • Experience with product lifecycle management and agile methodologies;
  • Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills;
  • Strong project management & consulting skills;
  • Familiarity with ITIL frameworks and certifications is a plus.
