Job Description

We’re seeking a Desktop Support Officer to join our National IT team, based onsite in Melbourne’s CBD. Reporting to the Senior Service Desk Manager, this role will be the primary IT contact for Colliers in Victoria, delivering high-quality support and exceptional customer service across all levels of the business.

This is a full-time, onsite role,  supporting multiple Colliers office locations within Melbourne. Together with two other onsite IT team members, you’ll follow a rostered schedule to ensure consistent coverage and support across all sites, while remaining an integral part of our national IT team.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Proactively identifying and resolving IT issues, with a focus on supporting our Melbourne offices.
  • Providing Level 1 and Level 2 support for hardware and software.
  • Following established processes and ensuring thorough documentation of procedures.
  • Recommending system upgrades or replacements when appropriate.
  • Championing the IT brand by locally implementing customer-facing technology initiatives.
  • Actively participating in and driving IT-related projects.

Qualifications

To thrive in this role, you will bring:

  • Tertiary qualifications and proven experience in an IT support role.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to work independently while managing a dynamic and varied workload.
  • A customer-first mindset, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in hardware lifecycle management is highly regarded.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft applications and a solid understanding of network fundamentals.
  • Confidence in building strong business relationships, including with senior stakeholders.
  • The ability to deliver information sessions or training as needed.
