- Act as an expert resource to others within the region, take preliminary actions/steps to identify, evaluate and recommend control measures for a variety of environmental, health and safety concerns, such as chemical, physical or biological workplace hazards.
- Ensure that there are no "Major" risks without a management plan and ensure the regional EHS program.
- Perform accident and EHS-related incident reporting on client and Colliers systems Perform/track EHS training; initial and recurring, computer-based and instructor led.
- Research regulatory compliance issues.
- Make initial and renewed permit filings or reports as required and use of client databases.
- Drive implementation of E-Permit to Work System across all accounts successfully.
- Publish Legal Updates, Security & Safety Alerts, Advisories time to time with IFM Group.
- Observe & successfully implement EHS Month, Safety Week and other Regional Programs in India.
- Collect and report data for performance metrics and CPI/KPIs.
- Support Colliers Facility Managers and Facility Coordinators on day-to-day issues as well as major initiatives.
- Assist the EH&S Team and support region to be in compliant with Environment, Health and Safety regulations.
- Support development and implementation of Colliers & EHS procedures and programs.
- Drive development and delivery of EHS training programs.
- Assist the procurement team in approving contractors for work in client properties.
- Ensure contractors maintain continued compliance with Colliers and client EHS Standards Management of site health, safety & environment rules and application of safety controls of: Risk assessment & Method statements Site supervision of work Permit to Work Lock out / Tag out Reporting Colliers and Vendor Accidents Staff induction and training Monthly reporting of site facilities inspections and corrective actions (repairs, maintenance etc.) Support the highlighted hazards in mitigation.
- Coordinate and lead local EHS inspection program, incident investigations, and close out of corrective actions.
- Assist in implementation of environmental programs including storage tank management, universal and hazardous waste, and lead based paint.
- Assist in implementation of health and safety programs including indoor air quality, asbestos, ergonomic, and safe work practices. Financial / Commercial Management:
- The EHS Lead to develop EHS budgets and forecasts, including EHS project-related opex and capex budgets for Pan India as required and supporting the county and Regional EHS lead with the responsibility for reporting key performance indicators & service levels.
- Support Account team in developing their Budget plans and guide them in terms of arranging required proposals and quotation.
- Leadership: Identifying national legislative standards and best practice. Ensure Legal Register is up to date.
- Any changes in legal requirement shall be published with IFM group. Designing and implementing practical EHS risk management strategies and procedures Ensuring compliance with Colliers and all client owned EHS policies and practice by Colliers staff and vendors.
- Develop an audit program to measure and report EHS performance against agreed standards Influencing staff, clients and contractors through effective communication.
- Work collaboratively with FM site teams to ensure full compliance with all EHS requirements at all sites.
- Drive and enhance Safety Culture across the Business.
- Provide monthly management report to IFM leadership team.
- Client / Stakeholder Management: Manage relationships with key Client stakeholders, Colliers internal and with Colliers principle / agency Vendors actively engaged with a detailed understanding of the Client's business / factors influencing EHS requirements travel.

- Degree in relevant disciplines Environment science.
- P. G. Diploma in Industrial Safety and Management with graduation in science stream.
- 12-15 years of relevant experience in Health & Safety
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Good documentation skills and experienced in user support and change management tasks of a technical nature
- High attention to detail and excellent problem solving skills.
- Ability to manage and work as part of a fast-paced team.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills at all levels.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- An understanding of the real estate / property industry.
- Initiative, creativity and willingness to implement improvements to current systems and processes.
- High level of self-motivation, initiative, enthusiasm and positive approach.
