This is a strategic role reporting directly to the Managing Director Occupier Services | Asia.
This is an opportunity for occupier expert to lead the growth of an established service offering within the corporate real estate sector to provide sophisticated account management and advisory services, as a point of difference against market competitors.
Responsibilities will include, but not limited to:
- To lead and manage the Enterprise Clients platform in Mainland China, comprising Account Management, Portfolio Strategy and Transaction Management services (leasing and sales/purchase transactions in office and industrial properties). Clients are large MNC enterprises which are under MSA (at Global, APAC or China level).
- Business Development aimed at winning Enterprise Accounts (in partnership with other service lines) such as Office Services, Industrial Services, Occupier Strategy, Workplace Strategy & Change Mgmt., and Lease Administration & Technology.
- A part of the candidates time will be dedicated to managing key large occupier accounts including the development and implementation of strategy, procedures and reporting, controls and communications, templates and standards, growth, and retention.
- To partner with China Colliers’ business leaders: Managing Directors, National Business Line heads and local Office, Industrial, Project Mgmt., Valuations and Capital Markets teams. Aim is to be able to give comprehensive multi-X services to accounts by accessing whole Colliers’ platform while also being able to influence and escalate service issues when required. The candidate should also be seen as a growth partner for Colliers China business, and a center of excellence for specialty occupier services to de delivered to local clients.
- To achieve China and Asia financial target (revenue and EBITDA).
- To focus on high value Enterprise Client targets strategically and proactively, with proper engagement plans and multi-level decision maker relationship building; with the aim to convert them into MSA accounts.
- To represent Colliers at industry and company events when required. The China Enterprise head should be active in the corporate and commercial real estate sector ecosystem in China, seeking memberships or speaking engagements which increase the Colliers brand.
- To keep an active talent pool of junior to senior candidates, which can be then hired efficiently as team grows and as opportunity appears.
- To keep a highly motivated and engaged team in China, by offering team members constant mentoring, career planning, encouragement, and leadership.
To be successful in the position, you will have a minimum of 12 years professional experience within the Asia Pacific market along with, but not limited to:
- University graduate, preferably in Real Estate, Project Management, or related discipline.
- 10-15+ years’ experience in corporate and commercial real estate managing large enterprise accounts or other aspects of complex real estate projects.
- 3+ years of team management experience, preferably with P&L mgmt. experience, business strategy, etc.
- Knowledge of Occupier technology platforms as well as knowledge of China social media environment (for marketing purpose).
- Fluent in both English and Chinese.
- Experience with other APAC real estate markets besides China (Hong Kong, Taiwan, Japan, Korea, ASEAN, ANZ, India).
- Have a strong market reputation and industry network of contacts (clients and industry peers).
- Strong communication and business development skills.
