We have an exciting opportunity for a Facilities Manager to join our award-winning Real Estate Management Services (REMS) team in Auckland.
In this role, you'll be responsible for the day-to-day facilities management of a portfolio of commercial and retail properties, ensuring buildings are well maintained, compliant, and operating efficiently. You'll work closely with clients, tenants, contractors, and property managers to deliver exceptional service and achieve the best outcomes for our properties.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, tenants, contractors, and internal stakeholders to deliver exceptional service.
- Manage the day-to-day facilities operations across a portfolio of commercial and retail properties.
- Coordinate maintenance works, monitor contractor performance, and oversee service contracts.
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, expenditure management, and client reporting.
- Ensure buildings remain compliant with health and safety, regulatory, and statutory requirements.
- Support capital works projects, building upgrades, and sustainability initiatives to enhance asset performance
What we’re looking for
- Previous experience in facilities management, property management, building operations, or a related field
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage effectively with a variety of stakeholders
- Sound knowledge of building maintenance, contractor management, and compliance requirements
- Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- A proactive and solutions-focused approach, supported by strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience managing budgets, reporting, or operational expenditure
