Colliers Project Leaders is seeking a dynamic and collaborative Chartered Building Surveyor to lead and expand our national service line. This is a rare opportunity to take the next step in your career, driving excellence in service delivery, team development, and strategic growth. Key Responsibilities
As our national Building Surveyor Lead, you’ll work closely with our Executive team to:
- Establish and grow a high-performing Building Surveying team across New Zealand.
- Drive strategic growth through business development and operational excellence.
- Drive innovation as a core enabler of future services offerings
- Deliver expert surveying services including technical due diligence, defect analysis, compliance advice, and dilapidation reporting.
- Champion Colliers’ values, culture, and reputation through strong leadership and relationship management.
- MRICS (preferred) or NZIBS Qualification (3-5 years post qualification experience preferred)
- Experience in commercial construction or a related industry.
- A growth mindset and the ambition to lead and develop a national team.
- Strong understanding of property legislation, compliance, and risk management.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in industry software applications and a passion for new technology
- A collaborative, enterprising mindset with a passion for delivering results.
