Our people are passionate, take personal responsibility and always do what’s right for our clients, people and communities. We accelerate their success by empowering them to think and act differently to drive exceptional results.
With growth forecast in our Rural and Agribusiness division, we are looking to expand our transactions team in Queensland with the appointment of an Associate Director for premium rural properties and agribusiness assets.
Reporting to the Head of Agribusiness, Transaction Services, you will assume a key role in the development and implementation of sales campaigns for a range of Agribusiness assets including commercial mixed agricultural operations, beef cattle, dairy and sheep assets, permanent crops, grains and pulses, other pastoral operations and intensive farming land.
The scope of the role will include:
- Actively pursue new appointments to act for organisations, especially focusing on fostering existing and new relationships with businesses likely to result in ongoing opportunities for the Colliers Agribusiness team.
- Build and maintain strong visible relationships with regional contacts by maintaining a high level of market presence in our marketplace, using media mentions and consistent vendor paid advertising with exclusive appointments.
- Analysing the sale of properties and client’s probability & potential of Agribusiness going to market timelines.
- A strong importance of driving internal relationships between Collier’s product lines via referrals both ways. This will ensure information transfer and opportunities between divisions with referral income tracked and encouraged.
- Preparation of marketing submissions, client progress reports on campaigns & sales agency agreements that are at high standard with a focus on details.
Qualifications
You must be a licenced real estate agent in the state of Queensland for this role. Ideally you will have a track record in rural property sales or advisory, however related sales experience in dealing with rural clients from a banking or agribusiness operational background will also be considered.
In return we offer the chance to work alongside a successful National team on high end projects with major clients, while working alongside leaders to drive the business forward as part of our 2025 plan.
We foster an environment in which everyone at Colliers feels respected and comfortable bringing their authentic selves to do their best work. It’s our people who set us apart and we actively recruit people who represent the diversity of the communities in which we operate. We take great pride in doing what’s right and operating in ways that benefit the business, our people, our clients, our communities, and the environment.
Experts join experts, and we welcome you to join us as we lead the industry into the future.
